Indian Air Force FT, also referred to as Indian Air Force Sports, operates as the football section of Indian Air Force New Delhi. The team actively takes part in the Delhi Premier League and the prestigious Durand Cup. Affiliated with Football Delhi (formerly Delhi Soccer Association), Indian Air Force FC represents the valour and sporting spirit of the Indian Air Force in the world of football.
The Durand Cup is the oldest football tournament in Asia and the third oldest football tournament in the world. In 1888, the tournament started off as an Army Cup open only to the British Indian Army troops in India but soon it opened up to civilian teams.
