Punjab FC

Punjab FC (formerly RoundGlass Punjab) is a professional football club hailing from Mohali, Punjab, India. They currently compete in the Indian Super League (ISL), the top tier of Indian football, after earning promotion from the 2022–23 I-League.

In April 2020, RoundGlass Sports Pvt. Ltd. acquired 100% ownership stake of the I-League club Punjab FC from Minerva Academy and rebranded it as RoundGlass Punjab FC. Later, in July 2023, they adopted the name Punjab FC.

The club’s journey began ahead of the 2020–21 I-League season, and they appointed Curtis Fleming as their head coach and Nikolaos Topoliatis as the new technical director. During the season, they showcased a commendable performance, securing the 2nd position with 22 points in 15 league matches.

In August 2022, Staikos Vergetis took over as the new head coach of RoundGlass Punjab. The following year, after a resounding 4–0 victory against Rajasthan United on 4 March 2023, the club clinched their I-League win, ensuring their promotion to the Indian Super League for the first time. They concluded the season with 52 points in 22 league matches.

With their Premier 1 Club Licensing secured, AIFF confirmed Punjab FC’s promotion to the 2023–24 Indian Super League season. The club proudly entered the Indian Super League as Punjab FC, marking an exciting new chapter in their football journey.
