The Bangladesh Army Football Team has arrived in Kolkata aboard an IAF C-130 aircraft to take part in the 132nd Durand Cup and the Indian Army extends them a warm welcome. The Durand Cup is the oldest football tournament in Asia and the third oldest football tournament in the world. In 1888, the tournament started off as an Army Cup open only to the British Indian Army troops in India but soon it opened up to civilian teams.
